Aloha is a well known Hawaiian word. It is used as a friendly, affectionate greeting. In the Hawaiian language it means love, peace, compassion, mercy, good-bye, and hello.
It is a fun word to use at Hawaiin parties and many times we see and hear it on TV shows and movies, like the new "Lilo and Stitch" movie.
Did you know that God has sent you a loving greeting? He wants you to know that He loves you very much and wants to be your friend.
The Bible, God's Word, says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
God wants you to know Him and one day live with Him forever. But there is a problem. The bad things you do, "sins," gets in the way. Have you ever sinned?
Jesus, God's only Son, came to earth and died on the cross for your sins, rose from the dead and now lives in heaven. You can be forgiven when you accept Jesus as your Savior.
This is God's loving greeting, His "Aloha" to you.
